“Installation of Video Cameras and Conducting Video Surveillance in the Private Property of a Natural Person”
The State Data Inspectorate, in order to clarify issues related to video surveillance, has developed recommendations titled “Installation of Video Cameras and Conducting Video Surveillance in the Private Property of a Natural Person.”
The recommendations were developed with the aim of helping natural persons assess the legal aspects of video surveillance carried out on private property, as well as to provide guidance on which methods should be used when processing personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
